- Electronic Automatic Twist Tester "TWISTRONIC"
- Code 2530B (+ Code 299A - optional)
-
- An innovative model in the generation of Twist Testers.
- This version enables at reasonable costs to perform automatically
serial twist test measurements on single packages without operator attendance.
- Main technical features:
- Automatic yarn clamping system
- Automatic twist testing of single yarns following the
untwisting and retwisting method.
- Automatic twist testing of Open End yarns following the
Schutz method.
- Semi-automatic testing following the direct method of
untwisting for both plied and multi-filament yarns.
- Automatic single package twist testing from 1 to 999
tests.
- Twist testing either every X meters of yarn, to be selected,
or at random distance, on choice.
- Complete with software and integrated printer which provide
the analysis and printout of the following data: twist mean value, min.
value, max. value, C.V.%, Range, standard deviation and alfa coefficient.
- Serial port RS232C to connect the unit to a P.C. for
Data Bank.
- Three preselection test methods: 1.) Traditional Method:
untwisting, retwisting for single yarns. 2.) "Schutz"
Method: untwisting, retwisting, and double counter-check. This test
is used mainly on O.E. spun and worsted wool yarns. 3.) Direct Method:
untwisting for plied yarns, threads and multi-filament yarns.
Optional: Auto Cop Changer Code 299A
- The modularity of this new generation of MESDAN-LAB Electronic
Twist Testers achieves its maximum expression in the connection of the
"Auto Cop Changer" (A.C.C.) with 24 positions (Code 299A) to
the Automatic Electronic Twist Tester. The combination of these technologies
enables up to 999 tests on each of 24 different packages (cops) to be obtained
without further operator attendance after the initial presetting.
- Additional features of this model are:
- Package change automation at the preselected number of
tests.
- Possibility to control different batches previously programmed
keeping the results distinct.
- Simplicity of operation coupled with maximum versatility.

ATTRIFIL II - Code 233B
-
New computerized and automatic version
of the well-known ATTRIFIL. Electronic instrument for measuring the friction
coefficient in a wide variety of yarns and threads. The friction is measured
in a continuously recorded process by two highly sensitive measuring heads.
The precise measurement of the coefficient of friction is of vital importance
in downstream processes such as knitting, weaving or sewing.
- Main technical features of ATTRIFIL II are:
- Automatic testing from a single package/bobbin up to
999 tests without operator attendance.
- Pre-selection of the yarn length to be measured.
- Pre-selection of the yarn length between two consecutive
measurements or random testing.
- Operating software for IBM or other compatible P.C. (P.C.
and printer supplied on request only).
- Integrated Data Bank storage.
- Electronic input (T2) and output (T1) tensiometers.
- Adjustable yarn speed from 0 to 300 m/min.
- Automatic low decibel sucking device.
- Slow start-up speed of rollers.
- Reduced dimensions,
- Complying with EC safety regulations.
- Coefficient of friction indicated for both each single
bobbin and a group of tests.
- Power supply: 220 V - 50 Hz / 110 V - 60 Hz single phase.
- Compressed air 6 Bar.
Optional:
On request ATTRIFIL II code 233B can be interfaced with
the Auto Cop Changer code 299A to automatically perform tests on 24 different
bobbins at a time.
