For Spindle Drives:

A. B. Carter, Inc. stocks many different types of tapes to suit the varying machine designs and performance requirements.

• A patented joining system assures perfect end bonds with no variation in thickness or flexibility.
• Available in any width and length with skived ends only, preglued ends or made endless.
• Available also slit to width and in rolls of 328 feet.

Cartabond® Tape Bonding System:

• Cartabond tape bonder was designed specifically for use on Carter spindle drive tapes and is to be plugged in during bonding time.
• This unit is available for 110V and 220V operation. It is adjustable and can be used for all Carter spindle drive tapes.

Mobile Power Cart:

• The Mobile Power Cart was designed to give convenient access to 110 volts at the processing machine to assure quality tape bonding.

Cartabond® Tape Bonding Solution

• A nylon synthetic adhesive which activates at 300° F.
• Our tapes are available already preglued with protective tabs applied to the skived ends. The glue can be sold separately for customer application.
• Cold clamps are also available for quick-setting the bond after the tape is removed from the bonder.
