Splicing Equipment:

Our Mill Devices Division offers a complete line of splicing equipment designed specifically to replace knotted and/or glued spinning on virtually all textile yarn composite fiber tows. These splicers are utilized in a variety or processes including:
Winding, doubling, twisting, warping/beaming, knitting, weaving, tufting and others.

Hand operated, track mounted and automatic air splicers are available in a variety of models and set-ups to accommodate different yarn characteristics and sizes in both textile and non-textile applications.

Mesdan Splicing Equipment is sold exclusively in Canada, Mexico and U.S.A.

-Code 110/110R - Hand Operated/ATS Track Mounted    
   
Application: Flat and low twisted filament yarns and long staple spun yarns.

-Illman Splicer  
   
Designed to join traditional textile yarns and composite fiber tows in processes where knots are objectionable or impossible to tie. This unique splicing method produces high strength, consistent joins in virtually any material regardless of size or composition. The Illman Splicer is available in three models (3000, 3500, 3550) to accommodate different yarn sizes and characteristics.

Our Mill Devices Division offers a complete line of mechanical knotters designed to join both synthetic and natural textile specialty yarns. Different models and types are available to join yarns of various characteristics and sizes. 
   
   
Weavers Knotter   
   
Application: Natural yarns and textured filament yarns (cotton, rayon, wool and blends).
Capacity: Staple yarns: 100's - 2's NE; Filament yarns: 50 - 450 denier.

   
Fishermans Knotter   
   
Application: Natural and synthetic yarns (spun & filament).
Capacity: Staple yarns: 100's - 1's NE; Filament yarns: 20 - 1500 denier.

   
Winders Knotter   
   
Application: Natural and synthetic yarns (spun & filament).
Capacity: Staple yarns: 100's - 1's NE; Filament yarns: 40 - 1500 denier.

   
Loop Knotter   
   
Application: Natural and synthetic yarns (spun & filament).
Capacity: Staple yarns: 15's - 2's NE; Filament yarns: 500 - 15000 denier.
