Carnulon Travelers
Carnulon travelers are manufactured from nylon material with a glass fiber additive. This glass fiber additive provides greater rigidity and extends the traveler life. All Carter travelers are available in carnulon material.

Metal Insert Travelers
Carter metal insert travelers are recommended for use with abrasive fibers that may cause excessive wear in the yarn path area. The insertion of a smooth metal insert greatly enhances the performance and life of the traveler.

Traveler Conditioning
All of our travelers are conditioned to the proper moisture content prior to shipment. However, care should be taken not to store the travelers in any unusual condition for an extended period of time; otherwise the moisture content may change, resulting in a change in the rigidity of the traveler.

Color Code
Nylon travelers are produced in various colors to permit easy identification.

Lubrication
Ring lubrication of the proper type and quantity is essential for the efficient performance of nylon travelers.
