Our numbering system for travellers is as follows:

Legend
Each designation is in three parts: Example G-191-B
1.	The letter preceding the number indicates ring depth. In this case G= 43/64".
2.	The number itself represents the approximate weight in grains of 10 travellers. In this case 191 grains / 10 travellers. ISO is the weight in milligrams per single traveller.
3.	The final letter designates a particular type of opening.

Ring depths are as follows:

Q = 1/4" (6.35 mm) A = 19/64" (7.54 mm) D = 5/16" (7.95 mm) E = 3/8" (9.53 mm) W = 13/32" (10.31 mm)

K = 7/16" (11.13 mm) L = 1/2" (12.70 mm) II = 21/32" (16.66 mm) G = 43/64" (17.10 mm) P = 5/8" (15.88 mm)

H = 11/16" (17.48 mm) J = 1" (25.40 mm) M =1 1/4" (31.75 mm) R = 1 1/2" (38.1 mm) N = HVT Rings

Nylon/Amlon

Amlon travelers are a combination of material and manufacturing techniques which gives longer life to the traveler.

Nylon/Fibermate™

Fibermate is our unique blend of fiberglass reinforced resins to give extended life in the case of abrasive yarns where long life and smooth running conditions are desired. All styles can be furnished in fibermate material.

Wire "R" Type

The metal insert part of this traveler uses a bent wire. This wire is produced from and hardened by a special process.

Colored Travelers

Colored travelers enable you to quickly and accurately identify various weights and styles. Since color is for identification, color changes can be made to meet individual requirements. If you prefer, most of our travelers can be furnished uncolored.

Ny-Steel® Travelers

Manufacturers of woolens, worsteds, and various types of synthetics found they needed a traveler for their highly abrasive material. To meet this requirement, U.S./Dynalon developed two types of "Ny-Steel"® (insert) travelers. Insert travelers are a combination of nylon and metal. In both the "FB" and "R" types the nylon touches the ring and the yarn contact is made with the metal insert. Proper hardening of the insert part insures long life. The body of all Ny-Steel Travelers is produced in our Fibermate™ material to insure maximum life.

Fin-Back "FB" Type

The metal insert part of this traveler is hardened and formed with a "FIN" of plastic to minimize fiber loading.

Packaging

Packaged to customer's sepcifications. Packaged in sealed bags. Each package is individually labeled with style, quantity, lot number and material type.
