Electronic Semi-Automatic Twist Tester "TWISTRONIC" - Code 2530A
Suitable to determine twist of both single, twisted and Open End yarns.
The principle characteristics of this model are:
  • Automatic and pneumatic yarn clamping system once the correct pretensioning is reached.
  • Automatic start-up following clamping.
  • Complete with software and integrated printer which provide the analysis and printout of the following data: mean value, min. value, max. value, coefficient of variation %, range and standard variation.
  • Three preselection text methods: 1.) Traditional Method: untwisting, retwisting for single yarns. 2.) "Schutz" Method: untwisting, retwisting, and double counter-check. This test is used mainly on O.E. spun and worsted wool yarns. 3.) Direct Method: untwisting for plied yarns, threads and multi-filament yarns.

Electronic Automatic Twist Tester "TWISTRONIC" - Code 2530B (+ Code 299A - optional) 
An innovative model in the generation of Twist Testers.
This version enables at reasonable costs to perform automatically serial twist test measurements on single packages without operator attendance.
Main technical features:
  • Automatic yarn clamping system
  • Automatic twist testing of single yarns following the untwisting and retwisting method.
  • Automatic twist testing of Open End yarns following the Schutz method.
  • Semi-automatic testing following the direct method of untwisting for both plied and multi-filament yarns.

The modularity of this new generation of MESDAN-LAB Electronic Twist Testers achieves its maximum expression in the connection of the "Auto Cop Changer" (A.C.C.) with 24 positions (Code 299A) to the Automatic Electronic Twist Tester. The combination of these technologies enables up to 999 tests on each of 24 different packages (cops) to be obtained without further operator attendance after the initial presetting.
Additional features of this model are:
  • Package change automation at the preselected number of tests.
  • Possibility to control different batches previously programmed keeping the results distinct.

ATTRIFIL II - Code 233B 
New computerized and automatic version of the well-known ATTRIFIL. Electronic instrument for measuring the friction coefficient in a wide variety of yarns and threads. The friction is measured in a continuously recorded process by two highly sensitive measuring heads. The precise measurement of the coefficient of friction is of vital importance in downstream processes such as knitting, weaving or sewing.
Main technical features of ATTRIFIL II are:
  • Automatic testing from a single package/bobbin up to 999 tests without operator attendance.
  • Pre-selection of the yarn length to be measured.
  • Pre-selection of the yarn length between two consecutive measurements or random testing.

NATI Instrument (NEPS & Trash Indicator) - Code 3280 
For objective and quick counting of neps and trash in slivers from carding, combing machines and drawing frames.
Collected data is essential for the determination of raw material quality and the wear conditions of the clothing on both carding and combing machines.
Being very lightweight (K9 20), it is easily trasportable and can be used near to the production machine.
The device is fitted with a suction system, for use with a 220 V 50/60 Hz supply.
Principle features:
  • Performance speed: the analysis of 1 meter sliver sample takes less than two minutes.
  • Data repeatability: manual preparation of sample does not influence final result.
  • Reading accuracy: besides the classical counting of neps over 0.7 mm, it is also able to read neps > 0.5 mm. As concerns trash, it is divided in two classes: >0.25 mm, >0.5 mm.
The device has a display for single data reading of Neps and Trash.
